The whole congregation at a glance

There is one subscription for the whole congregation. It isn’t paid from congregation donations – someone covers it privately because they want the congregation to have the app. Everyone else pays nothing and never enters a card.

No. myteo is an independent project. It is not an official app of Jehovah's Witnesses or of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania.

On servers in the EU. Field service reports and sensitive personal data (address, date of birth and baptism) are encrypted with the congregation key, which the server doesn't know. Who sees what is determined by roles and rights in the congregation. Under the GDPR, the congregation is the controller and myteo is the processor; we enter into a data processing agreement.

You add people and groups and send each person a QR code or a one-time code. Everyone then sets their own password.

You can cancel the subscription anytime. The data then stays available for another 30 days, and you can export it.

myteo is an independent web app for congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses. It brings the meeting schedule, field service reports, territories, cart shifts and absences together in one place. The schedule builds itself from the workbook, and the app sends reminders to people for you. For the whole congregation it costs €49 a year, and the first 60 days are free.

myteo is in English, runs in a browser on your phone or computer, and has one price for the whole congregation. NW Scheduler is a program installed on a Windows or Mac computer, where it keeps the data; Hourglass and Organized are free web apps. Besides the schedule and reports, myteo also has territories on a map, where a publisher marks the part they covered, and cart shifts.

No. Open myteo in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer and add it to your home screen as an icon. Once it is on the home screen, notifications about tasks and shifts also reach your phone.

When a publisher opens the app, they see what is coming up in the next 7 days: meeting assignments, cart shifts, meetings before service and their territory. They submit their field service report in two taps. Elders and other brothers also see what they are responsible for: who prepares the schedule, the whole schedule and absences, the congregation secretary for reports and S-21 cards, the territory servant with requests and the territory overview. What each person sees is set by the roles and permissions you assign in the congregation.
