Encryption

The app encrypts field service reports and sensitive personal data (address, date of birth and baptism) on the device with the congregation key. Neither the server nor the operator can see their content.

Where the data is

The server and database run in the Czech Republic (WEDOS Internet, a.s.). A list of other processors is in the annex to the Data Processing Agreement. The website does not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Cookies and browser storage

The website uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser; only if you switch to the dark theme or pick a language does it remember that choice. The app stores only what it needs to work: the sign-in cookie, your settings, and data for offline use (deleted when you sign out). None of this is used for tracking, so we do not ask for cookie consent.

We measure use of the website and app anonymously: a random session number lasts only until the page is reloaded or closed, and we store no IP address or anything else that could identify you with it. With Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track enabled, we measure nothing.

Sign-in with Google and the Paddle payment page set their own cookies under their own policies, and only when you use them.

How long

Congregation data for the duration of the subscription and for no more than 12 months after it ends. Payment data for the period required by tax regulations. An unconfirmed registration is deleted after 24 hours, and a demo congregation after 24 hours.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object. Write to info@myjw.app. You can file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz) or with the supervisory authority of your country.
